Ragtag Warriors

Ragtag Warriors

For most of my life, I’ve thought I was… not smart. Stupid according to my inner critic. ⁣

Then 3 years ago God asked me for one step of obedience. To open my home for a women’s bible study. ⁣

I told him I wasn’t qualified and that I didn’t have anyone to invite. ⁣

He told me “ it’s none of your business who shows up. I’m just asking you to open your house.” ⁣

So I did. ⁣

And that is how Ragtag Warriors was born.

A group of wildly different women gathering together to seek God and laugh until we cry, cry for reals sometimes and drink the occasional mimosa.

Mostly we were looking for our tribe. Our girls. Our friends. Our people.

It took obedience for each one of us to show up. Everyone was nervous and everyone had every reason ever to not join this community, but each one showed up because God had asked us to.

Ragtag Warriors is your community too. This is our place to be real, raw, funny, challenged and encouraged through our friendships and the word of God.

Now today, I’m getting straight A’s in my Masters of Biblica Exposition Program, I have the community of women I have always prayed for and I get the high honor of founding Ragtag Warriors.

And wouldn’t you know it, I’m not stupid. Not when doing what I am created to do. ⁣

Albert Einstein puts it like this” if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life thinking that he’s stupid”. ⁣

Many a miracle happens out of simple obedience to God. ⁣

If you are feeling like Eintstien’s fish, have coffee with Jesus and ask him howyou can obey today and watch what miracles unfold.

Then reach out to your #ragtagwarriors on Instagram and tell us all about it and how we can be supporting and praying for you.

Very cool, Sarah! It’s always encouraging to see people step out in obedience to God’s call.

I will be opening my home to 10-12 or more ladies this Monday to read scripture and pray for our kids, school and families. I am excited, yet hesitant because of my time and the many other things I and every other mom has to do in a day, but I am stepping out because I feel the Lord nudging me the do this. I pray for blessing on our time and a comfortableness and boldness to share and pray from our hearts.
